OEM filters, which are usually made of paper, filter adequately but at the expense of airflow. And airflow decreases as these air filters become dirty. Not so the K&N air filter. It freshens incoming cabin air while it controls odors and captures most mold, mildew, fungus, spores, bacteria, germs, pollens and allergens and is electrostatically charged to hold on to those contaminants making the air in the cabin of your Sierra 1500 healthier for you and your passengers. This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use, or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).
