There is a small amount of chelated iron and 2% magnesium. The iron helps to deepen the green color overall but won’t push it to blue. Magnesium is a micronutrient that is very important for the overall health of the grass plant and it also directly contributes to the lawn’s color. Flagship is loaded with an impressive 6% potassium, higher than most other fertilizers on the market. At Yard Mastery we see the results of thousands of soil tests and have noticed that a good percentage of these are indicating low potassium, so you will find that we formulate potassium into most of our custom blends. Potassium helps lawns in times of stress by aiding in water uptake and retention.

Application Information: Flagship is meant to be the primary growth-stimulating fertilizer in our custom line so you want to use it when your turf is in growth mode and can be used on the following grasses: We developed this formula with a 1776 theme. FREEDOM Fertilizer contains 17% nitrogen, and 25% of the nitrogen is slow release, which is perfect for summer application. It includes 7% phosphorus, encouraging rooting which is important as we head into summer. At 7% it’s enough to give the root system a whiff but not enough to cause your soil levels to spike. Lastly, FREEDOM also contains 6% potassium in the mix, which is excellent for aiding the lawn in stress.
