Assembled in the USA, all of Rx SmartGear’s original Jump Ropes feature an industrial grade, multidirectional swivel axis bearing system, producing a near frictionless rotation. The patented swivel attachment allows for the selected cable to reach top speeds or slow down depending on the athlete’s needs. In total, Rogue is offering (5) different weighted cable options with these ropes: 1.3oz (Hyper), 1.8oz (Ultra), 2.6oz (Elite), 3.4oz (Buff), and the 4.1oz option: the “Beast.” Replacement cables make it easy to customize your existing jump rope for different training goals, different athletes, or to a new color scheme for a gym, team, school, etc.

Hyper Cable(1.3 ounces for 9’ length) - Aircraft grade cable with PVC coating, comparable to traditional speed cables. The PVC coating does not retain memory and therefore uncoils nicely. This cable produces the fastest cycle rate, so the athlete must be extremely proficient at double-unders. The ergonomically contoured handles on these jump ropes measure 6” long x 1” diameter and include both Rx and Rogue branding. By creating a natural, relaxed grip, they help reduce the speed rope fatigue commonly experienced in the forearms and shoulders. The handle pinch points also allow the athlete to gain pinpoint accuracy to maintain optimal rope shape. Rx has provided a helpful sizing guide for jump rope length based on athlete height, from 4’11” beyond 6’3”. Variances in optimal rope length can occur, however, based on certain factors, including an athlete’s starting hand position (if you jump with your elbows out and hands out wide rather than close to the body, you may want to add a few inches to Rx’s length recommendation).
